Invited to Copenhagen for the second annual Nordic Somali Youth Summit, we organized an impromptu fashion shoot, to take advantage of Denmarks beautiful landscapes – pure and simple, and often infused with an ethereal Nordic light.

So when we got invited to the second annual Arise Fashion Week Nigeria, we packed our bags for a week filled with fashion and fun.
On a recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya to visit family, we took some time to see what the rest of the country had to offer. Kenya is a place of startling beauty and it was a tough choice between visiting the desert lakes around the cradle of civilization in the north, the volcanic Rift Valley or the wide open plains of the Maasai Mara. Ultimately, we chose to visit the coastline and headed to a small sleepy town called Malindi.
